                                              T-551 Metal Deactivator

DESCRIPTION

T-551 is a benzotriazole derivative. It can form an inert film on metal surfaces or chelate with metal ions. It effectively restrains the catalytic oxidation caused by metal ions, improves the oxidation resistance of lubricants and inhibits copper corrosion, thus greatly extending the service life of oil products. With short molecular chain and high nitrogen content, it shows remarkable synergistic effect when compounded with antioxidants such as T501. It can strengthen the overall anti-oxidation performance. It is widely used in HL machine tool oils, turbine oils and other industrial lubricants.

Note: It has strong alkalinity, so avoid contact with acidic additives and ZDDP to prevent chemical reactions.

DOSAGE

The Reference dosage is 0.03-0.1%

SPECIFICATIONS

STORAGE:

This product shall be stored, loaded & unloaded and blended according to SH/T0164. The high temperature shall not exceed 75°C, and not exceed 45°C for long term storage. It is nonflammable, non-explosive and in-corrosive, and it is same as the common petroleum products in the aspects of security, environmental protection and use etc. Special protection is not needed.
